Professor Minghua CHEN on Elevation to IEEE Fellow

Professor Minghua CHEN of our School was elevated to IEEE Fellow, effective 1 January 2022, with the following citation: for contributions to delay-critical networked systems.

Recognizing the achievements of its members is an important part of the mission of the IEEE. Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for elevation to IEEE Fellow. IEEE has more than 400,000 members in more than 160 countries, and less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for this member grade elevation.

Congratulations to Professor CHEN for bringing honor to himself and SDSC by his achievements. The naming serves as visible recognition of Professor CHEN’s elevation to the highest grade of membership in the IEEE.
